When is the Underground City open?
There is no single opening time. Hours are set building by building. A walk that works at noon on a Tuesday may hit a locked door on Sunday night.
Open interactive guideMalls publish their hours
Centre Eaton and Complexe Desjardins post their hours online. Both keep shorter hours on some days: Centre Eaton opens later on Sunday, and Complexe Desjardins closes earlier on weekends than on Thursday and Friday. Centre Eaton also posts special holiday hours.
Office passages
Many links run through office towers. We haven’t found published hours for most of them, including Place Bonaventure, the World Trade Centre, the Quartier international link and Complexe Guy-Favreau. Expect that they may close after business hours and on weekends. The planner flags routes that use them.
An open métro doesn’t mean an open passage
A métro station can be open while a link beside it is closed. For example, Bonaventure station has an elevator, but the Bell Centre lists its access from Bonaventure as closed.
